What’s This? Another Blog?

Why I’m publishing yet another blog.

I use iBlog to create and maintain my blogs. Unfortunately, iBlog isn’t really capable of sharing blogs between computers…yet. As a result, if I want to maintain a blog from my laptop rather than my desktop computer, I have to have a completely separate blog.

That’s what this is all about.

This summer, I’ll be spending a lot of time with my laptop. My work schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off. That means I’m at home only half the time. The rest of the time, I’m up near the Grand Canyon, flying or waiting around or relaxing in the evenings.

My employer, Papillon, has a wonderful wireless network. With my PowerBook’s built-in Airport Card, I can connect to the network and access the Internet. I can also publish the blog entries I create on my laptop.

I spend a lot of time thinking, especially on the 36-mile, door-to-door drive from my white box on Howard Mesa to the Grand Canyon Airport. I’ll be expanding on those thoughts and sharing them in this blog. I’ll also be providing some “war stories” about my flying experiences here at the canyon. And who knows? I might start other blog categories for other topics on my mind.

If you READ these blog entries, drop me a line . Even if you don’t like what I write. It’ll just let me know that this isn’t going out into the ether without being noticed.
