How Many New Posts Do You Like to See on Your Favorite Blog?

Another poll for blog readers.

I’ve been trying without much success to follow a number of blogs using a feed reader. I realized just today that the reason I’m not succeeding is that some blogs simply post more new content than I’m able to keep up with.

And that brings up the question of my latest poll for blog readers:

How many new posts do you like to see in your favorite blogs?

It was tricky choosing a number as it depends a lot on the blog, the type of posts, and the length of posts.

In general, if a blog has a lot of posts (15 or 20) in one day I find it a bit much, but then I probably just skim the headlines on such blogs anyway.

For a blog like yours, a couple of posts a day is fine, and if you miss days, then that’s fine too.

I chose 1-5 a day, but you’re right: it depends on the blog and the type of post. Some blogs are headline scanners, others are better for in-depth reading.

Right now I’m having trouble following a handful of blogs that seem to have 15 or more new posts a day. A bit much, indeed!
