		<description>Your monopod suggestion is excellent. The key to keeper wildlife photos is a steady camera and lots of light. I have the same unit (679B) you recommend. You might consider adding a Manfrotto 3229 quick release tilt head. It has a safety feature that (if activated) locks the camera in place. Its convenience factor is huge and risk low. 		<description>The monopod has a standard tripod mount on it, so the camera screws in. Actually, it has a two-size tripod mount on it; the thicker mount collapses into the base when not needed. It&#039;s a pretty cool design -- the Italians are incredible designers. So the camera is fixed and the monopod steadies it. To walk around, you can grasp the whole thing by the monopod and not have to worry about the camera falling off.</description>
