Contact

Revised April 15, 2009

If you need to reach me, please use one of the contact methods on this page.

Support and Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question regarding one of my books or articles, please consult my Q & A pages. There’s a chance your question may already be answered online. If it is not, you can use a form in the Q & A pages system to ask a question. I try to answer questions within a week.

I do not provide support for my books, articles, Web site, or anything else by e-mail, contact form, Guest Book, U.S. mail, telephone, or fax. There are no exceptions to this rule. I simply cannot provide one-on-one support for my work. The Q & A pages enable me to answer a question once in a forum where many people can benefit from the information. No other form of communication does that.

Blog Feedback

If you have a comment about one of my blog entries, use the Comment link or form for the entry to enter it and share it with other site visitors. Rest assured that I’ll read it, too. If I have a response to your comment, that’s where it’ll go.

You can also use comments to report a bad link in a blog post. I appreciate any help I can get tracking down and fixing bad links on any of my sites.

To learn more about how comments are handled on this site, please review the information in my Site Comment Policy. It explains how comments are moderated, both automatically and manually. It will probably explain why a comment you posted has not appeared on this site.

Please do not use comments to ask questions about topics covered in my books. That’s what the Q & A pages are for.

Contact Form

First, read the above. All of it.

Now read this: I cannot recommend books, tell you about books I haven’t written, provide information about books that have not yet been published (even if writing is in progress), or get you review copies of books. I cannot recommend computer models or software or advise you about software compatibility. I can’t even recommend a consultant who can do these things for you. Please don’t try to contact me with questions that ask for any of these things; I simply will not respond. If I had a dollar for the e-mail messages I got that asked for these things, I’d be very wealthy and have a secretary to read all my e-mail. I’m not and I don’t.

Please do not use the Contact Form below to ask questions about my books. That’s what the Q & A pages are for. Please use them.

That said, to reach me by e-mail, fill in the following form.
